My main sim was deleted? :(

Hi! Last night I couldn't connect to the gallery. After some searching, I saw that if you try "repair game" then it would connect. It ended up connecting and I ended up making a new family. Somehow, my main sim is gone and so is her house (which I spent hours on). What could have happened? I am deeply sad.

Sims 4. Macbook pro.

Are other sims (of your creation) gone too or just the main one?
If you're missing more sims and save games, check this page out. Sometimes when you repair/patch or reinstall the game this might happen!
