Mary3210 It sounds like you might not be working with the folder the game is currently reading. Keep in mind that the location of this folder could have changed. So please find it, as described here:
https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
and compare that location with the full path to your mods that aren't loading. For the latter, right-click one of the files and select Properties > General, then look at the Location.
