My sim is getting moodlets from traits she doesn't have. How do I fix this?

My sim keeps getting traits she doesn't have. I changed the ones she aged up with. Can I fix this at all? Restarting my computer or game isn't helping.

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.

I've experienced this issue after editing pre-existing sims with the 'cas.fulleditmode' console option. It's likely that references to the original traits remain hidden but I haven't unpacked the data to verify this.
