My sims 4 audio didn't work

Hello, I want to report some problem of The sims4. Its seems like the audio of the game didn't work. I got this problem for 4 days and I already did any google suggestion but its still doesn't work. I also uninstall the game and install it back but the problem didn't solve at all. Its kinda annoying to me since I feel likes I play some mute game. I did check my laptop sound but only sound of the game didn't work. I already ask my friend but they didn't have any problem with the audio.

Hope you guys can solve my problem in a short term.

Thank you.

  • @nurasenpai02  Please try a different sound output device that uses a different type of connection, for example earbuds connected via jack versus the laptop's built-in speakers.

If the second device doesn't work, make sure you haven't set Origin to run Sims 4 without sound.  Open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options, and look at the command line box.  If you see -nosound , delete the text and save the change.

If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
