My Sims 4 Game Not Saving On Mac, Mods/Custom Content

I haven't been on the Sims in a few months, and I just did 2 days ago, had the game update, and noticed that the game I've been trying to play for as long as possible will not make any more saves. I ...

    @kgchix 

    After last patches, a lot of mods and CC are not working anymore. Check if there are the new updated version of this mods

    Move the mods folder to the desktop.
    Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder
    Fix the game in Origin.
    Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder. Check if a game is working now without mods.
    Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method

    I do think it is an issue with my custom content now that I've followed what you said. I've had an issue before with mods, but this time there was no error code to tell me what was wrong. Thank you!
