Hi @stoney10S,
Did you try to follow the suggestions on this post by crinrict? That might help.
If not, could you share a screenshot of the content of your Documents \ Electronic Arts \ The Sims 4 \ saves folder?

Thank you for responding. It reset it self again after I tried the crincint thing. I'm new to this so please pardon me. It's so frustrating. But I started from scratch once again and put new lots from the gallery and sims that I still have in my gallery that I played with prior. So their in my gallery but not in the game. I noticed once I had about 4 new lots and old sims placed in newcrest. Then I went to make a new sim in cas then went to move them in any house, that's when everything disappears. When I go to cas to make new sims the game resets it's self. I'm so confused and I want play sims. I've been a loyal simmer since the beginning. But after putting time and effort to have it all disappear is just to much. Here is a screen shot of what I see in save folder now.

Im having the same issue. All my progress is gone as if I am playing the game for the first time. I have not downloaded any mods or CC. I'm on a mac and when i go to my files, the only things I see from Sims 4 (under the "all files" tab) are a few empty folders I can't open called 0x00000003! and a lot others similarly titled, and one transcript called "lastException.txt" that has code of the last game play I did (gameplay that got deleted). I tried searching for the Sims 4 document and TRAY, nothing came up. What do I do?

Hi @stoney10S,
Thanks for those screenshots 🙂 How are you getting into CAS? From the main menu or the map view?
@Kstengard could you check if your iCloud is uploading your Documents to the cloud, including The Sims 4 folder? If that's the case, you would need to set iCloud so it doesn't do any changes to The Sims 4 folder.
If that's not the issue, could you post a screenshot of your The Sims 4 folder so we can take a look to those weirdly named folders?
Thanks,
Mai

Hi, when I actually looked on the main screen, I saw a load tab, and a Auto saved file so I was confused then clicked on it and it had several saved files from new saves but nothing from say a week ago from my complaint. So I'm not sure what's happening. So far yes I am playing and saving consistently.

Hi @stoney10S,
The game is not finding the old save games because the old files don't seem to be in your The Sims 4\saves folder. This happens if you delete your save games from inside the game (which I guess you didn't) or the files are moved or removed by a program or someone from outside the game.
Do you have any idea where these files could be? You could try to search for 'Slot_00000001.save', which might help you find the files you are missing in another location. 🙂
