SimObsessions You want the Game Ready Driver, not the Studio Driver, which is for professional workloads. The drivers are similar but not the same, and while the Studio version should be compatible with games to some extent, it's not as effective. Click View to see a download page.
In general, you always want the most recent driver IF you're updating or reinstalling the driver to fix a specific issue. You don't need to update every time there's a new version or allow auto updates, and in fact that can increase the chances of something going wrong. In general, I don't update unless it's been more than six months, or I want a new feature or to play a new game, or I notice a problem that might be caused by my current driver. Other than that, it's best to keep using an already-working version.
I updated the driver, then I played it and it crashed. I also did a clean reboot tonight and again it crashed. Every time it crashes I am in build mode. Every time I have done something you have requested I have started a new save file, no mods or cc, and in a base game world. I load into create a sim, it never crashes in CAS. After I have a new sim, I load into a completely empty lot in Newcrest and begin to build. It crashes about 5-15 minutes every single time. I had a laptop and Sims 4 ran smoothly with my cc and mods. After switching to the PC it crashes constantly. I didn't know if it had to do with the update or this computer. Here is the Reliability Monitor info;
