Thank you so much for explaining that out more thoroughly, I couldn’t understand it as well on the other forums!!! Unfortunately it’s confirmed one of my problems. There’s not a Sims 4 file in my documents ☹️ is it possible it’s somewhere else?
@maybemayday Have you launched the game at least once already? If not, that would explain why the folder isn't present.
If you have launched the game, you can find the full file path to your user folder through this in-game option:

One thing that trips people up is when they have two versions of Documents:
C:\Users\[username]\Documents
C:\Users\[username]\OneDrive\Documents
They may be looking in one location while the Sims 4 folder is in the other. To be sure of which one you're viewing, you can open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, double-click the C drive, open Users > your username, and proceed from there.
