my sims won't get promoted

Question

My Sims will not get promoted. They do the daily tasks and they are more 5 and 6 skill level for their job. And still nothing. I had my guy quite his job and start the same job over again. I had them (2 sims) start at young adult now they are about to turn into adults. Idk what to do. Please help.

Are you using mods ? Is the performance bar all the way up ?

My arrow won't go up at all. I'm like stuck in the middle. They are still level one in their jobs. They are in the mood I need to be and I'm doing the daily things too. Then I go to work and nothing.
