Why Do I Have to Manage My DLC on Steam?

I recently bought the legacy bundle over on steam which came with grunge revival kit. However I play my game on EA app thus all my dlc are connected to it only this one kit tells me to manage on steam under "manage add-ons" options in EA app, is there a way I can download the kit WITHOUT downloading the whole game from steam?

eflatonik​&nbsp; No, you can't use Steam-owned content in an EA App install.&nbsp; If you want this kit, you'll need to uninstall the EA App version of Sims 4, install the game through Steam, download that kit through Steam, and then download your other content (but NOT a second copy of the base game) through the EA App.
