my sims4 wont close
as of recently when ever i have tried to close sims4 (via pressing the three dots in the right top corner and pressing exit game) the game will not close, it stays on the screen you would usually see...

yes i have and i do have custom content in my game but ive had those for months and they caused no problems, its just as of the past few weeks before the latest update its been doing it
The new update made some mods and custom content become out of date.
Have you tried moving moving the mods folder to the desktop and deleting your game cache to help with troubleshooting. If it loads okay, it may be that some of the mods/cc have become outdated.
Disabling or turning off both mod/cc options isn't enough of a test.
