Need help fixing save file!

I saw another thread that helped me a little and realized the location within the sims and my save files. I just need to know the step, cause I am so stressed from this and just want my save file back!

  • @ashleykp34  You simply need to move the save to the correct folder.  Open a second File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, double-click the C drive to the right (you may need to scroll down a bit), and open Users > your username > Documents etc. from there.  You can drag the save to the new saves folder, and it should work.

You may want to pin this Sims 4 folder, or the Electronic Arts folder it's in, for easier access later.  Right-click the folder to see the option.

I tried this, but it did not work. It's okay though, I had just deleted the sims then restored it through one drive and restored it, which helped fix everything! Thank you for the help though!

@ashleykp34  I'm glad that helped, but I hope your user folder isn't currently in OneDrive.  Leaving it there can have consequences sooner or later.  If it is in OneDrive, and you want help moving it, let me know.
