New game and regestration code already used? 0.o

Hey,

my girlfriend bought The Sims 4 two days ago. When she tried to use the code in Origin it said "This code has already been used". Anyone got a solution for this?

It can´t possible be right since she just bought the game and hasn´t installed it even once.
