New PC Windows 11 saves content not showing

I just got a new PC, with Windows 11 and have been transferring my saves and mods, but I have an EA file and an Electronics arts file.  My The Sims file is in my EA folder, NOT my Electronic Arts folder.  I set it up just like my old computer and the game is not recognizing my saves or Mods.

Yes I removed my Mods and tried it this way.  Nothing.

I have attached an image of file to show what I am talking about.

  • @SkyeAria  There are actually two "The Sims 4" folders.  You're looking at the game's program files, as in, the data that Origin or the EA App installs.  Your saves need to go inside the user folder, which is in Documents > Electronic Arts.  This Sims 4 folder won't spawn until you've launched the game for the first time.

If you still can't find this folder, open the game and find the folder's file path using this method:

To make sure you're in the correct folder, you can open a File Explorer window and click This PC in the left panel, then double-click the correct drive (probably C) and open the corresponding folders from there.

@SkyeAria Sace files go in the the user documents folder. The games user data is npot created until the gasme is successfully launched the first time. The game is hard coded to save user data to the user documents folder. . The Windows operating system redirects this data to the user OneDrive folder. Microsoft really (and I mean really) wants you to use OneDrive.. OneDrive is activated when you boot the computer. What you need to do is open OneDrive settings and exclude the user game data files from syncing. The folder you need to exclude is C:/Users/(name of user)/Documents/Electronic Arts. This will stop the operating system (Windows 11)  from moving the game files. I alsoo check keep files on this computer. Doing this allows the game to find the files where it expects them.
