Jpopper07 You can try placing it unfurnished, which helps in some cases. If you can get into Build/Buy mode on the lot, you can also try saving each room separately, and testing them separately, before reassembling the build (minus any broken rooms) in your main save.
But it's possible the lot won't ever work the way you'd like, or that fixing it would be more work than it's worth, or that fixing it would remove the features that made you want to use it in the first place. So think about whether you want to put in that amount of effort.
