New update glitches

Ok I did the most recent update and now there’s stray cats and dogs appearing in my Sims house (I do not have the lot settings for dog hangout or cat hangout) and every family in the game just adopted a horse. I have the story settings set so that they can’t adopt horses because I got tired of people in apartments having horses. But I update the game and everyone adopts a horse. I don’t know what is happening 😂
