No option for higher paid gigs - acting career

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.154.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? University, get famous, seasons, city living, get together, get to work, parenthood, vampires, tiny living, laundry day, toddler stuff, luxury party, holiday celebration
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to play through the actor career.
What happens when the bug occurs? Despite levelling up within the actor career, no high paid gig options appear. First occurred upon being promoted to level 2, but after completing another gig and being promoted to level three, the bug still occurs. Changing agency doesn’t fix it. In the career tab it states the median gig pay for level 3 is 875, but the options don’t go above max 500. She also hasn’t received any promotion bonus.
What do you expect to see? Increasingly higher paid (and with higher skill requirements) gig listings as the sim levels up the career.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I installed the big new update yesterday, after which this problem has occurred.

    @Ittebahpla Did you freshly start the career after the patch ? Do you have any actor career ones from before ? Do those work ?

    @crinrict I can’t remember if it was after the patch, or if I first joined the career the day before but hadn’t been to any gigs yet. I think it may have been just before, as when I accepted my first gig there were 4 options, and subsequently there have only been 2.

    I unfortunately lost all my old save files a few months back along with the death of a computer, so I don’t have any actor career saves I can access and check.

    @crinrict I just started a new save file and played through a gig. She was promototed but the issue's still there.

    It's always the same two auditions - Making Moosic and Sulty Suds Commercial.

    You did it regularly, not by cheating, right ?

    HI  @Ittebahpla 

    as I'm a bit short on time, i've asked some friends to test and both couldn't duplicate

    So lets try some troubleshooting

    Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

    You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

    After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

    Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

    The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
