no option to update

I don't know if this is a Sims 4 issue or if other games on the EA app are also having this issue (Sims 4 is the only EA game I own). For the past few Sims 4 updates, I've turned on my computer, openned the app, and it doesn't show that there's an update - even though I know there is one, because I follow Sims 4 news. The work around is to close out of the app and restart my computer, then the update shows up and there's no problem updating. It's not a huge deal, but it's getting really annoying.

    @jsophiak  The next time this happens, try closing the App and killing the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager.  Particularly (but not exclusively) if the App has set itself to start with Windows, the background service may not have refreshed itself to pick up the presence of the update.
