No options to interact with other sims

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Parenthood an holiday celebration packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? by clicking on another sim and not being able to interact with them
What happens when the bug occurs? it won't let me click on another sim and have to option to interact with them
What do you expect to see? to see options to interact with the other sims
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
I do not have any options to interact with another sim when I click on them. Ex. I will be playing as sim1 and want to click on sim2 to chat with them, but when I click on sim2 no options show up.
