When I installed Parenthood the various parenting options were there. Now the last two times I have come to play the game, there are no parenting options - however the toddler/child/whatever still do things that would need parenting! Any ideas?

are you using any mods/cc in your game ?
If so, try removing them and see if it works
If not, try repairing the game through Origin by right-clicking on the base game and choosing repair game
