No PC buy downloaded The Sims 4

I currently do not have a PC; however, I downloaded the Sims 4, and the Origin download to my laptop. Do I have to run the programs onto the my laptop immediately after purchase, or can I wait until I have a PC available (could be between 2-3 weeks)?

(Will my purchase cancel out, or will it always be available despite when I want to download it?)

    You can install the game on both your desktop and your laptop (as long as your laptop isn't a mac computer). Your allowed up to 5 parallel installations (you just can only play on one at any given time)
