sims 4 game is crashing after it tries to load saved game.

Hi all i’m having an issue i’ve never had before! when i go to play sims 4 and i click on resume game, it shows the loading plumbob for a minute or two and then crashes. so far i have tried deleting and turning off all mods, repairing the game, clearing the cache. i removed the entire sims 4 folder from my documents to load up an entirely new game, which worked. but of course i want to play my original saved folder with all of my hard work. i cant pin down the exact issue. how can i fix this problem? :(

    gracebark​  Can you load a different household within the same save?  Click the Load Game button and choose one you've never played before.

    If this works, move your main household to a different lot and see whether you can play them there.  And try to load their old house without them in it.  You don't need to save your progress; the point is to find out whether the problem is limited to the sims or the lot they're living on right now.

    Please continue to test with your Mods folder removed.
