Not able to decorate house during holidays

I wasn't being able to use the holiday decorations box to put up decoration, I was able to only have my Sims rummage through the decorations but not have the house be automatically decorated, is it because I am playing in a penthouse in San Myshuno instead of a house on the ground??

    Hi @babelola01

    are you using and mods/cc in your game ?

    Could be related to the apartment so could you also try a house to see if you have the same issue for testing purposes ?

    Yes and you know what I’ll try to decorate a house to see. I’ll get back to you on that.

    If it doesn't work either, try removing any mods/cc you might have and try without.

    If it works, you need to narrow down the mod that's causing it.
