not able to download sims 4 because of Location error

When I got sims 4, I was happy. Sure it was a lot diffrent, but I got used to it. A month later however, I had to update it. When I did try, an error came out 5 seconds later saying that the location...

  Do you have the game installed on the c drive or somewhere else ? Are you on a PC or Mac ?

    It is on a PC windows 8 and yes it is on a c drive
