not seeing the change out of wet clothes option

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.55.105.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? everything
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have a Sim travel to Willow Creek
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims get soaking wet in the rain and stand dripping for ages
What do you expect to see? there used to be an option to 'Change out of wet clothes'
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Not sure if this is a bug, maybe something was changed while I was away. There doesn't seem to be an option for soaking wet Sims to change out of their wet clothes anymore, although it's not needed as they will eventually stop dripping and it doesn't seem to give them any negative buffs. I was just wondering if it has been changed.

    Sounds like everything is working as intended?

    I tested it just now during a naturally occurring thunderstorm with two sims.

    Tomax ran outside to play in the rain and got the happy positive "Great time in the rain" moodlet. He's dripping wet but has no "change out of wet clothes" option, but that makes sense to me because he intentionally went and got wet and enjoyed it, and isn't uncomfortable.

    Grace stood outside in the rain idle and got the uncomfortably wet negative moodlet. She gets the option to "change out of wet clothes" because she doesn't like being wet and would like to get out of them.

    So if you've got positive wetness, then the option doesn't appear. Whether that is by design or not is up for interpretation. My take is that you can change out of wet clothes when uncomfortable because the game is giving you an option to counter the negative buff. But with the positive buff it doesn't need to (seems counterproductive to prematurely end a happy buff).

    @reboot2019 have you tried it on a lot where a wardrobe/closet or dresser are present? I can't remember if the option appearing was dependent on having one of those around.

    thanks @crinrict @simvasion  I am sorry for not getting back sooner I've been away. I've just tried a new household (not a new save though) and the option is to change out of wet clothes is missing. The Outfits option is available (change outfit & change into nude)

    I thought when I was reading your messages that I had made an embarrassing blunder! because the household I was playing was my homeless Simself & he was probably on a community lot anyway, however this time I've just tried on a base game home lot and it's just not there.

    @reboot2019 I tried it myself in my game and it's working fine. A dresser or closet doesn't seem to be needed.

    While your sim has the uncomfortably wet moodlet on them, you can click on them and choose to change out of wet clothes. Your sim needs to be standing up.

    When I tested it, the option was not available if the sim was sitting down. It also seemed to be unavailable while my sim was singing karaoke.

    @crinrict the Sim was in the house standing idle dripping and it was still raining outside . I had to buy the weather machine to make the rain because I was getting bored waiting . I will try it on my modded save because all the bugs and glitches are happening in the vanilla saves

    Hi @crinrict 

    I wanted to upload the save but it wasn't a supported file extension - neither was the zip file I tried!

    So here's what I've done;

    the day before the magic pack was due for release I backed up then deleted all my old saves - it was heavily modded, and although I was bored with it I might have wanted it again - turns out I didn't.

    Then I uninstalled & reinstalled every pack - not an enjoyable task as I live in the middle of the Welsh countryside and at times the downloads were being measured in bytes!!

    Then I was so absorbed in setting up a new save game I didn't notice the change out of wet clothes was missing.

    When I did, I tried repairing the game - it made no difference.

    Today I've started a completely fresh vanilla save using 3 base game households in Willow Creek (Spencer-Kim, Goth & the Pancakes).  I had to start the rain, then make them put away any umbrellas, then play in the rain, then go inside. The only option available was 'play in the rain' and under more choices 'shower in the rain'
