not work

I have The Sims 4. I insert the 1st installation CD and the installation starts. The Origin window opens. I am connected to a strong wifi with my laptop. And it says: Online login is currently unavailable. Nothing in the window works and I have created an account on the website, but it did not help. What is wrong?

An old disc is probably way out of date, especially since they got rid of Origin and replaced it with EA app years ago. You should install the EA app and then download The Sims 4 - the base game is free. But if you've already played The Sims 4 before and have it in your EA library, then it should also be there to download anyway.
