Nothing would let me repair my game.

I went to start the game and i got a message saying that there was a problem and i had to repair the game… went to repair it and suddenly a message popped up saying EA app could not make a folder and needed to be run as administrator, i looked at a post about EA explaining what could’ve been happening and how to fix it and tried everything but it still won’t repair, i even tried to uninstall the game and now i can’t install it.

I gave the app all permissions, cleared caché, ran the app as administrator… nothing is working and at this point i don’t know how to fix it.

  • skiesnann  This error is typically related to an overly active antivirus.  So please set an exception in yours for EADesktop.exe.  If this helps, set exceptions for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_64, and TS4_Launcher_x64, or the entire Bin folder they're in.

If setting the first exception doesn't help, disable your antivirus, temporarily of course, and repair, then test the game once.  As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe, and you can reenable the AV and set the above exceptions when you're done testing.
