Objects keep disapearing from my game!

I must start off by saying that I love sims 4! That being said, I am having an odd assortment of issues of late with my game!
My characters stand around for ages !!!! Half of the time commands given simply don't register in the game,
so I am constantly having to click over and over again before the command shows up! And what's with the time in this game?
My character has a job,so I try to keep him ready to go to work. He will get up (sometimes 4-5 hours before he's due to go to work) by the time he's stared into space for ages, and finally fed himself he's late for work!!!! Why does it take 4-5 hrs to prepare breakfast and eat? He often goes to work starving and stinky and needing to relieve himself!! Why, when he got up 4-5 hrs ahead of time to take care of these things?
Also , what's with characters bouncing all over the screen? They're standing, then sitting, first over here, then over there......!

Objects in my game keep disapearing too. How many times does he have to purchase the same items because they won't stay in play?, my characters are not switching when I click on their image! You have no idea how much mischief this causes if I don't notice it immediately. I have had the wrong character kanoodling with the wrong "person", because I trusted that it had switched when I clicked to change over. It's all rather annoying, to say the least!
These are just a few things that I remember at this time! I've probably left out some things, but these are the ones that are most irritating at this time. These issues showed up after the last update! I think some more work is needed to fix these latest issues!
Sorry to be such a stickler, but I don't want to play anything else anymore, and i'd like to not lose my mind while playing this!!!!!
Mostly I love the game, but it's driving me nuts these days!
