One drive is full and I can’t take sims 4 out

Okay so basically I saw a thread about trying to unsync one drive. However, I still can’t do it. I followed different directions with ultimately somehow made one drive take sims 4 with it when I took it off. So I turned back on one drive and it all appeared. Also some folders and files in the sims 4 file have a status with a check and others have the little cloud thing which I’m guessing means it’s still connected to one drive. I’m totally stuck and have no clue what to do. Everyone keeps saying different things and overall it’s overwhelming and very confusing. It really hasn’t been a concern until now because now one drive is now low on storage. I just want to be able to have more space and be able to add more mods. I’d really appreciate any help on how to fix this and help others with the same situation.

Next, please list the location of the Documents directory on your computer; this lets me know whether you need to take extra steps to get rid of OneDrive's influence.  Run a Windows search for Command Prompt, open it, and paste this:

reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"

    Then post the results.

This problem is absolutely fixable.  It just takes a bit of patience sometimes.

I thought maybe it would be better to paste it as well but it says

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders  Personal REG_SZ C:\Users\diorh\Onedrive\Documents

@aem6xrz0qabh  Okay, you have two main options here.  One is to stop OneDrive from syncing the Sims 4 folder, or the Electronic Arts folder if you prefer.  The other is to disable OneDrive entirely.  Either way is fine; just pick on based on your personal preference and use case.  Please see this guide, specifically the "I don't want OneDrive to sync my files" or "I want to get rid of OneDrive" section, depending on what you'd like to do.
