Origin doesn't recognize Sims 4 from steam.

So, I bought Sims 4 on Steam a while ago. At first, everything was fine, but now when I press play on Steam it won't do anything and on Origin, it says that I don't own a game. I tried to reinstall Origin and clear cache but nothing worked. I tried to contact Steam support but they said that since the problem is on the Origin side, I need to contact Origin support. At Origin support, they said that since I bought the game on Steam, I need to contact Steam support. Every other Origin game that I have through Steam like Battlefield or Titanfall works perfectly fine. I don't know what to do anymore. Can anyone help me, please?

  • @ToxicmanSK  Please go to an ea website, for example ea.com, click the sign-in button, and choose to sign in with your Steam credentials.  (There's a little Steam icon you can click on the sign-in page.)  Once you've signed in, make sure that the EA account you're in matches the one you've been using to sign into the Origin client.  If the two don't match, that's the issue: you need to be signed into the Origin account that's linked to the Steam account that owns the game.

If you are in fact in the correct account, let me know.

    Hey @ToxicmanSK,

If you've already contacted Steam support about this as well, we can go ahead and look into getting The Sims added to your Origin account for you so you can access your game there instead. This isn't something that can be done through AHQ as we don't have access to your account details here, so you'll want to reach back out to live support so they can have another look.

Please try reaching out to the support team via Twitter or Facebook for help on this, if you have any issues, be sure to let me know!
