Origin isn't running when starting The Sims 4 Error

Hello. Starting on Friday or maybe Saturday after I logged off of The Sims 4 to download some CC and then I installed CC and put it in the game folder it stopped working. I would launch the game and ...

@xabluedot Could you please try using the Legacy version of Origin: 

  • Download our old Origin client via https://www.dm.origin.com/download/legacy 
  • Run the installer in Vista or XP SP2 compatibility mode (right-click installer -> Properties -> Compatibility)
    Note that Store and Social functions are not available on this Origin version. Any purchases can still be made via the webstore on another device.

Let us know if the same issue happens with this Origin client.

    @xabluedot Sorry to hear that ☹️ Could you check if the same thing happens if you sue a new Windows Admin profile? 

    Also what antivirus/firewall do you use?

    Won't work and I have allowed Sims 4 and Origin on the antivirus I use, and I use antimalware.
