out of memory on startup

Hi for whatever reason I am completely unable to launch the game because I get an immediate crash to desktop with an error saying I'm out of memory. I have 96GB of ram so should be enough to play, and the game worked before today's patch. I already completely deleted my Sims 4 folder and ran the repair process on my client.
