How do i fix this so i can play my game??? I dont know how to find this "CAS Demo folder" or if i even have one. I dontknow how to do any of this stuff

@chichiah123 Does any of the content from these packs show up in-game? You can check in CAS or Build/Buy: try to filter by one of the packs. @VennahPlaysSims2 Are your packs loading in-game or not? If not, which ones are missing?

The "requires Sims 4 etc." message can be ignored on its own. The important question is whether your content works.

I have this same issue and it looks like my dlc is all installed and the ea app allows me to press play on my high school pack but it just opens to the sims and when i go to my pack in the game it still says the same message

All packs require the base game to play. When you start a new game do you see the world that came with the pack.?

I have the same problem. If I load a saved game it doesn't show the world that comes with it. Instead it says that its still being installed but when I go to the EA app it shows all my game packs fully installed.

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I have this same exact problem. Been going at it for 4hrs now and I cannot find a solution. I do not see the worlds that came with the packs. I tried your method of moving the mod folder to the desktop and slowly adding everything back, didn't work for me (I could possibly be doing it incorrectly).
Ive also gone into my pc file to see if my expansion packs are all in the correct files, Uninstalled and reinstalled, logged out of EA and back in, no luck. I just keep seeing “The Sims 4 and all game updates etc”. The biggest issue is the fact that my create a sim for the packs is not there but some of my build mode items are.
I originally played this on Origin and coming back to Sims 4 to see that Origin doesn’t exist anymore is very confusing. I really hope you can help me and educate me on this matter!! It would suck to lose all that money I put into my packs ☹️(
Plz help me, I am desperate!

i have the same problem but its on my ps4 and i don't know what to do on my ps4 because it show me how to do it on pc but its not on my pc its on my ps4.
