I am very desperate for help and the EA Helpdesk has been unable to assist. I have been playing The Sims 4 (PC) on Origin since 2017. In Nov 2017, my cousin purchased the Cats & Dogs EP as a gift to me via the Origin platform and I had no problem playing it for years.
Skip to a few months ago. I was prompted to move over to the EA platform and all was working well until suddenly my game was unable to load. I tried to repair it on the EA platform, but this did not work. Uninstalled and reinstalled everything, which seemed to work at first. However, I then noticed that I am no longer able to access the features from the Cats & Dogs EP? It no longer shows "in library" and instead shows that I can purchase it. Neither my cousin or I still have the email with the product code for the gift from 2017.
I am extremely upset that I am unable to play this and I am just not willing to purchase a game I have owned for more than 6 years... Does anyone have any advice? The EA Helpdesk and sent me around in circles asking me the same questions over and over again and finally recommended that I post on this forum.
