LadyAriancia Your dxdiag is full of crashes of the graphics driver. While Sims 4 might be contributing to the issue, this kind of error should never happen at all. So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of the driver, as described here:

I already did a full reinstall from fabric settings of my computer 2 days after the new sims 4 update because I'm having a different directx crashing issue with ffxiv, that seem to happen every time my CPU reach 100% which I still haven't figured out why it does that. But I doubt reinstalling it all again will make any difference. As I at that point made sure to update my graphic drivers as much as possible and even updated bios. If you say the issues are related I can't say you are wrong, but after the latest patch I don't seem to be the only one experiencing a lot of freezing which demand forced shutdowns to get out of. And beside ffxiv and sims 4 freezing up on me and crashing no other game on my computer or program have been doing the same.
