perfectionist trait lost

Question

I created a YA sim and chose 3 traits for her as usual. Now, she also has all available reward traits from the base game and city living, too. I created a suitor for her and moved him in. After a week or so (in game) I noticed with my suitor selected that I only can see 2 traits on my sim, like with teens. I switched back to her and went to character traits section to check. Nope, no perfectionist trait. I also entered "change sim" thru a mirror and only 2 traits available.

Where did my 3rd trait go? Why did that happen? Anyone has same issue with that trait or another?

BTW, I do not use any mods.

this this only happen with that one Sim or can you reproduce it if you try another ? What happens if you switch households ? Do other Sims loose traits as well ?

Do other Sims loose traits as well ?Actually this is my first sim since a long time that I played for so long. (I didn't have any issues before) She has a family now, husband and a set of twins. No problems&nbsp;with them so far but they have not so many reward traits as mentioned sim with the trait loss. I moved her once from suburbs to the city. She was single by that time. So, I don't think it happened from moving.Once I used the "change sim" option for her to alter her looks. Didn't check if it happened right after tho. I am guessing if there is a price to pay for that??? Like giving up a trait???Or can it be that with all rewards traits added to my character she is out of space for traits?I will try to keep an eye one the next sim with all reward traits but that will take time since I don't use any mods or cheats. (don't like them, no challenge 🙂)

If it happens again, feel free to open a bug report in the bug forum. Maybe it was just a glitch but you shouldn't loose traits for using change Sim.

Did you change her when she was an NPC or already in your family ?

Couldn't find anything on any forums I checked.Thanks for the advice and I will keep a closer eye on my sims from now on.
