I have the same issue. I Repaired my game and now my game went from german to english. I am not able to play the game. It is so annoying! Please fix it!

@JeniJenfred I've moved your post to a thread covering the game switching to English, which might not be the same issue as the one covered by the thread where you originally posted. The only way to switch languages is to uninstall Sims 4 and reinstall in the language of your choice, unfortunately. The question is whether German is still an option for you.
If your internet is slow and you don't want to reinstall everything, what you can do is rename the Sims 4 folder that contains the game's program files. First, make sure that the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager. Find the program files, which are in one of these locations by default:
Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4
Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4
Rename that folder, for example put a - after the 4, and the EA App will think the game is no longer installed. Tell it to download, and before starting, it'll ask you what language you want to use. Let me know what options you see.
