Play/speed buttons don’t work when baking/cooking

Every time my sims bake or cook a meal, the buttons for pause/play/speed doesn’t work properly, either they don’t work at all or they lag/get stuck and I have to keep pressing them for them to work. ...

does this happen for all your Sims/Households ?

Did you als try another save for testing ?

    Yes, it happens with all of them, I tried two new saves and it still happens. I’m trying a game repair right now, I’ll let you know if it works.
