If so, please remove that content and repair (EA App > Sims 4 > Manage > Repair OR Steam > Sims 4 > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files). Even if this doesn't help, please let me know whether you've been using one of these utilities, and which one.
I'd also like to know whether all fences cause this or only some. And if it's all fences, try the porch with no walls and no fence, as in, see whether the problem is the fence itself or the fact that the porch is outdoors rather than inside some walls.
