First thank you for the help. I appreciate it 🙂
Second, as stated previously this is only an issue with old save files. New save files work perfectly.
My old save files get corrupted when I try to open them since the update. I do not have any serious mods that would corrupt them once removed (just McCommand). And in these old save files the new romance features are not visible in the sim panel in live mode.
@danikajaye Sorry, it's been a long day. Does the old save work in the new user folder, with no other added content? If your main household doesn't work, try a different one, and if that doesn't work, try new sims in the main save. If none of them work, try a backup save:

The idea is to further narrow down the source of the issue.
It's entirely possible that one of your mods corrupted your save, but that's not clear at this point.

I am having the exact same issue as well. I have never used mods in my game before, so I don't think it's that. Somehow the new updated has corrupted people's older saves, making it impossible to save your game once you load into it.

@allthenations Are you possibly seeing this issue?
If so, please use that thread.
@TheSwimmingPoole Do your old households work when you've removed all mods and custom content? I can't tell from your description, but that would be the next test. If they don't work, what happens when you try to access CAS? Are there any children or teens in these households, and if so, can you load an household that only contains adults?
@cecilepie Can you load a different household within the same save? Please try it and let me know.

@puzzlezaddict I removed all my mods/custom content and I can't get into cas with my old households with teens/children. However, I am able to get into cas with my old households without teens/children work.
I even added the mods back in and it's the same result. I can get into cas if there are no teens/children (that's why I feel like it's an EA problem).
