Problem with placing gates into fences

I had some weird problems with fences in the game.

Every time I tried to place a gate into it, the whole fence segment disappeared and was not able to set a new fence in the same area.

Restarting the game helps to get the fence back but as soon I try to place a gate it happens again.

My current game version is 1.61.15.1020.
