Problems with Edge Scrolling

You have to hover your cursor half over the GUI so it turns into a magnifying glass. It will then scroll down

You can switch to a Sims 3 camera mode, if that suits you better.

Edge-scrolling should not be effected by the GUI. The past sims games didn't have that problem. Other popular games that have edge-scrolling dont have that issue. I think there should be a patch or something because its very frustrating to make sure my mouse is on the very edge of the GUI lol. It's a very uncormfortable gaming experience the way it is set up now since I mainly like to use edge-scroll. Also, edge-scroll speed is something that should be added. 😕mileyface:

Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying sims 4, I just think that edge-scrolling being effected by the GUI is bad design. 

yes my grandson played sims 4 few days ago Now I cant get my edge scrolling back  how do I do it? Cause its quite difficult to play without it Thanks...C.Domicello

Go to the game options by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner. Make sure you play in fullscreen mode and edge scrolling is ticked there.
