two games of same game

hello I have ran into an issue. My sims 4 game is showing up two different ways. when I first open EA the add-ons show as cats and dogs and holiday celebration pack. however, if I come back to EA after I played on steam the add-ons show 26 of them but it is missing cats and dogs. when I play my game on steam it keeps saying I don't own cats and dogs. it seems like I have two sims 4 games and my cats and dogs is downloaded into a game not connected to my steam. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing my game, and clearing my cache. I'm not sure what to do. I would really like to play with the cats and dogs pack. can you help?
