RAM for sims 4
@ximaddiee What do you think of this laptop?
Its processor and graphics chip are capable of running all current Sims 4 packs on medium-high to high settings, and it has plenty of storage and a reasonably good if not particularly bright screen.
It does only have 8 GB RAM, which is okay if not ideal. (As a side note, systems with 16 GB start around £450, at least new.) But you could buy another 8 GB, now or later, for about £20, which would still be within your budget, albeit barely. For example:

Installing RAM is as simple as computer upgrades get; the most challenging part of this would be making sure not to lose the screws when removing the bottom panel of the laptop. Or you might be able to get a friend or family member to do it for you.
This same laptop comes with 256 GB for a discount as well:
If you're not going to store anything other than Sims 4 on it, and you don't have a massive custom content collection, 256 GB is fine. But 512 GB is more convenient, so I'd suggest the upgrade if you're comfortable with the price.
I didn't find anything as good as this for under £350, but if you'd rather wait until you've saved up more money, feel free to come back when you're ready to buy. If you're considering buying now, keep in mind that the Dell is on sale at the moment, and the price may go up again or the laptop may sell out entirely.
If you have more questions, please feel free to ask.
