I can open my game, I can edit my sims but I can't actually play the game because every time I try it ends up getting stuck on the loading screen for hours {see video below}. I have no mods or cc, I have deleted the localthumbcache which I was told to do but it didn't work, my laptop has got plenty of RAM to run sims and I repaired my game several times but my game is still broken. Can someone help me get back to my beloved game please?
GothicSimmer21 Does this happen only when loading one household in one save, all households in one save, or a new household in a new save? Please test other households and a new save if you haven't already.
If the new save at least is fine, I'd like to see a lastexception from your main save. Open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see. Try again to load this save, and if and when it doesn't work, look for a new LE. If you find one, open it (Notepad is fine), copy its text, and paste it into a reply here.
If the new save doesn't load, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
