Re: Broken game after 1.97 patch

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

You did start a new game as instructed? Please post the exact error message you get. A screenshot is preferred.

@jpkarlsenWhen I try to open a new game, I can get to CAS and get to this point
The checkmark stays grayed out but the game does not progress past this point

@denai99 I will add this is after dragging my Sims 4 folder to desktop and deleting localthumbcache
