    @gothboy_23  Your computer does actually have wifi—I can see the driver for it in your dxdiag.  How is your computer currently connected to the internet?  You can check by looking at the icon in the lower-right corner of your screen, just to the left of the clock.  If it shows a wifi icon, you're using wifi; ethernet has a different icon.  You can also click this icon to switch to a different wifi connection.

    If the laptop is using an ethernet cable, please switch over to wifi, specifically using your phone as a mobile hotspot.  (You may need to disconnect the ethernet cable to see the option.)  Make sure it's using data, not your home wifi.  If using data for this update would be a problem, you can pause the update as soon as it starts; the point is to find out whether the download errors out or not.

    If your laptop is already using your home wifi, try switching to ethernet, i.e. a connection via cable.  You might need to borrow one from another computer, but that's fine: the cables can be switched whenever you want.  If that doesn't help, try using your phone as a hotspot as described above.
