Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 DLC shows as installed, won't load in-game
So I purchased the New Expansion Pack Growing Together on it's release date 3//16/2023 and was really Excited about it since I have literally all the expansion packs. However, it has become a Royal Nightmare and has me so angry the past 24 hours that words can't explain. Everything is 100% Broken. I have done everything EA Tech Support has told me and still nothing has sorted this super game breaking issue . I have been polite with the reps. that have tried to help without a fix and yes I have fully Re-installed Sims 4, Re-installed the new EA App. that is honestly worthless at this point. Yes I have fully wiped my caches from sims, and the EA App. caches, I have made sure I did a Full Uninstall of both Sims 4 and the EA App. I have wiped all mods, wiped the tray, and local folders. I have disconnected my inter net and restarted that. I have fully restarted my P.C. I don't know how many times now. I am really starting to get so annoyed after wasting 40 plus dollars and over 1,000 dollars of real money that is invested into the whole Sims 4. Years worth of stuff wasted due to this one Pack or is it the EA AP?
Either way, I wish for a fix all. This isn't just my issue this is a world wide issue FIX IT ( Please ). My Sims 4 states in the EA APP I own everything and that it is all installed but when I open the SIMS 4 it says that all the packs need to be downloaded now and some say restart to play. This is not the case, I have done this multiple times over and over. I have the EA Tech Support chats, I have the game receipts, I have all the proof. If anyone can help this would be AMAZING but I'm not about to hold my breath. All I have to say is this is unneeded video game stress from a company that should have their stuff together before launching something new.
I get it stuff happens and things don't work perfect always, but WOW....
