Re: [CURRENT ISSUE] Sims 4 DLC shows as installed, won't load in-game

@puzzlezaddict is there any update on this issue? I've done the steps you posted on page one with no luck. I moved the EP14 folder from the delta folder to the main Sims 4 folder but still can't see the new world, even with a new save. See screenshots. I only have the Horse Ranch pack with the issue. I've removed the MOD folder and don't have the Demo. I have a theory that the game didn't download properly as there was no "download" that happened in the app and in game, there is one item from the pack that's greyed out and has a red cross on it.

  • @RhiBax  Please delete the folder you moved out of Delta.  The Delta folder holds patch data, not the data for entire packs, so moving it wouldn't do anything except possibly convince the EA App you've already installed Horse Ranch.  After deleting the folder, please clear the EA App's cache:

    and repair the game: open your EA App game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair.

    Then try to download Horse Ranch again through Manage > Manage add-ons.  If it's not listed there, let me know.  If the App thinks it's installed Horse Ranch but the pack still doesn't appear in-game, please run the search described in the first post of this thread, for EP14 , and post a screenshot of the result.

    @puzzlezaddictthank you for your reply. I have deleted the folder I moved out of Delta, cleared the EA app's cache and repaired the game. The Horse Ranch pack has never been listed under manage add ons.

    Hey there @RhiBax 

    This sounds like there are some issues on your account with your entitlement for Horse Ranch- this isn't something we can look into over the forums with you since we don't have access to your specific account details, but live support can look into this further with you and see what's happening. 

    Please reach out to live support from the help site here so they can review your account details and check your entitlement for Horse Ranch- if you have any problems getting through to live support on this, be sure to let me know.

    @EA_Solaire thanks for the reply. Unless I've completely missed it, I'm not able to find live chat support. The link takes me to an area to choose the game or account support, both of which take me to recommended articles which don't help or an option to email the support team, which I've done and they said they're "aware of the issue affecting hundreds of thousands of customers" and they'll let me know once it's fixed. This issue was initially reported after the game was released and is yet to be fixed. I don't know that they understand the issue.
