basementgremleen Have you restarted your computer? I mean a real restart (the option that shows when you click the Power icon in the lower-left corner of the screen), not sleep/wake.
If that doesn't or didn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also post a screenshot of the error, for reference.

Yes. I've restarted my computer multiple times.
It's now a different error from before.
